Building Leadership Team Committee Members: The Palmer BLT team is always welcoming new members!! "Our Castle to Yours" Newsletters
This year's Palmer's K-5 classrooms have been charged with delivering an anti-bullying message to their peers during the Day 3 Morning Program Assemblies. Specifically, students have been presenting on the role of the Bystander.
This month the BLT would like to feature Mrs. Abdullah's 4th grade class for the outstanding job they did of incorporating the role of the Bystander into the school's existing G-L-O-W program. Below is a copy of the G-L-O-W poster that the students in Mrs. Abdullah's class created in order to arm Bystanders with an action plan on exactly what to do if they witness bullying. The plan is written by kids, for kids- and it is in the same G-L-O-W language that all Palmer students are familiar with. The poster will be officially rolled out to students and staff at the building-wide Olweus kick-off event scheduled for this Friday (1-27-12)
Kudos to Mrs. Abdullah's class for a job well done!
